A recent on going refurbishment programme has ensured all rooms are tastefully furnished.   All rooms boast en-suite facilities, hospitality tray, colour TV, direct dial telephone, hair dryer and ironing facilities. Discerning décor makes an overnight stay a most relaxing one.

Our ranges of bedrooms from singles to family rooms are situated on two sites.   In the main hotel you are assured comfort and convenience with our attention to detail and friendly service.   Guests staying in our Brewery House, a beautiful period building across the road are offered pleasant, quiet rooms with idyllic views.   The hotel offers three bridal suites, two which boast four poster beds.

Restaurant

The Castle Carving Room

The Castle Carvery is our newly built restaurant located in the unique surroundings of the hotel cellar.   You are ensured a cosy and comfortable atmosphere for small tables in the alcoves and archways of the cellars.

Our Carvery Restaurant is open to non-residents each lunchtime and Monday to Saturday evenings. A weekly choice of menus and pleasant staff, you’ll find that whatever you are organising a family celebration or a romantic dinner for two, we’ll ensure that you have a meal to remember.

Bars

The Bow Street Runner Vodka Bar

Tamworth’s Russian themed bar is the first of it’s kind, during the week.

The bar is an ideal place to relax with its cosy atmosphere, subtle décor and down tempo background music.

A quality and extensive bar snacks menu is available every lunch time until early evening. At weekends, The Bow Street Runner transforms into a busy, lively meeting place offering a wide range of quality vodka’s from Moscow and around the world as well as a selection of flavours and uniquely crafted cocktails.

Decadence Late Night Lounge

Friday and Saturday – Open from 10pm – 2am,

Playing various music from Hip-Hop to Electronica and Indie to Funky House.

This Select Nightclub creates a sophisticated atmosphere where you can relax in good company and enjoy a quiet drink or dance the hours away.

A strict age admission ensures a mature cliental utilises our facility.

Banqueting & Function Rooms

THE TUDOR SUITE can accommodate 20-100 for meetings.   Its high ceilings and carved oak panelling makes it a superb venue for wedding parties seating 90 for day time guests and up to 160 for evening functions.

WEDGWOOD SUITE with its magnificent ceiling and natural light can cater for up to 80 guests for a formal meal and 130 guests for an evening celebration.

The Castle Hotel has also been granted approval to be used for civil ceremonies.   Marriages in the presence of the superintendent registrar may take place in either the Tudor Suite or Wedgwood Suite.   Our sales team will be happy to discuss this further.
